Deskewing
Pages scanned at an angle are straightened before recognition to improve the result.
Zero network
The engine relies on Tesseract, executed on your machine. No network call is needed to OCR: the operation works on a train, on a building site or on a machine with no connection.

- No accuracy rate is promised: the result depends on the quality of the scan.

Open a clear scan and choose its text language from the five included languages. Blurred or low-contrast pages are harder to recognize.

Apply text recognition to the pages you need. It adds a searchable text layer without replacing the document image.
Check the result
Search for a known word, select a sentence and copy it to verify recognition. Check names, numbers and tables, then save a copy of the PDF.
